Home for the Holidays
Friday, December 6th and Saturday, December 7th, 2019
Every year, the Melrose Chamber of Commerce hosts Home for the Holidays, a city-wide holiday open house that ushers in the holiday season in our community over two days.
Friday Evening Festivities:
5:45pm: Join us on the lawn of City Hall for holiday singing with local group, Main Street News!
6:00pm – 6:15pm: Cheer and Sing as we light the City Hall Christmas Tree (tree lights and labor donated by LCM PLUS!). Then stroll down towards the YMCA to await Santa’s arrival.
Around 6:30pm: Santa Claus will arrive in downtown Melrose!
All day on Saturday the city will be full of fairs, performances, sales, specials, The Nutcracker, and tastings that last throughout the weekend.
Special holiday trolleys will run from 10:00am – 2:00pm, carrying shoppers throughout the shopping districts, for free. The trolleys are made possible by our generous business sponsors below.
The 2019 Complete List of Home for the Holidays Activities will be posted here in late November.
The 2019 Trolley Map will be posted here in late November
- Free trolleys will run from 10:00am – 2:00pm and originate at Cedar Park with stops throughout Melrose. Hop on and off!
- The last trolleys out of Cedar Park will be at 1:40PM as the trolleys stop running all together at 2:00pm sharp so plan your travels accordingly.
