Melrose Chamber of Commerce

I want to recognize Stephanie and Kelly who run the Melrose Chamber of Commerce.  As a fairly new business owner, joining the Chamber last year has been incredibly beneficial.  Before joining, I wasn't entirely sure what to expect or how much value it would bring, but I can honestly say the personal attention, support and genuine care they provide has been overwhelming and I am grateful to be a part of their organization.  They go above and beyond to support local businesses - whether that means offering direct help, connecting you with the right resources, or organizing community-wide events and networking opportunities throughout the year.

As someone who owns a business focused on fitness and nutrition, having a connection to the community is important to me. I’ve found that being a member of the Melrose Chamber of Commerce has provided me with my great opportunities not only to connect with those who live here, but other small business owners as well. I’m also a volunteer for the Victorian Fair planning committee as a way of giving back to the Chamber and the city of Melrose.

Starting our bakery in Melrose, we were looking to serve the needs and the "sweet tooth" of a community. Joining the Melrose Chamber has helped allow us to get our name out there and be also be part of the small business community. We also proudly sponsor the Chamber’s Home for the Holidays yearly event to help the community have a “sweet” start to their holiday season!

Being members of the Melrose Chamber of Commerce is an important component of ensuring that our firm is an integral part of our community. For example, the legislative information sessions provided through various Chamber of Commerce events are especially informative and permit us to engage with local city officials, state legislators and those that represent us in Washington. These interactive opportunities allow us to directly present our views regarding important issues that impact our clients and the Melrose community. The Chamber of Commerce is comprised of a diverse and vibrant group of civic minded people and we are pleased to be a part of such a purposeful organization.
